Nanowrimo 2006
For those of you wondering where I might have been the last few weeks, I thought I’d just update you.
First off, I’ve been working very hard at work, and trying to focus on putting in an application for a job that would be quite a promotion, but that is well within my abilities. Don’t think that will work out, but finger’s crossed.
The other thing is that I’m doing nanowrimo this year, and although writing proper didn’t start on that till November 1st, I’ve been working up lots of notes and thinking very hard indeed about it.
These handy widgets show my progress so far:

Please send help.
I am also working on a forum for this website… thinking about ditching comments in favour of it, as I’ve seen that work quite nicely on other sites, and I tend to end up getting into conversations in the comments with the same people anyway, so a discussion board makes a certain amount of sense. But we shall see how that pans out.

Nice one cuz.
I find that a lot of blogs generally turn into little discussion boards, but somehow I wouldn’t feel right posting a 2000 word discussion topic, whereas it seems ok for a blog… so can’t help you with a recommendation sorry!
Good luck with the job – just keep thinking positive. And good luck with Nanowrimo – I just don’t have the discipline any more. Look forward to updates on both.

Teehee, sorry. Been a little remiss in updating my nano account.
I’m on 32071 words, and I have four days off work, so the end is in sight, and certainly attainable.
Unfortunately, I also know that the story isn’t going to be nearly finished in the words I’ve got. So you may have to wait a little while before reading the full first draft, cuz.
