Just saw the second episode, and I have to say it's consistently good, and it seems like they're using the rolling roster to their advantage as far as story settings go.

Anything else I say would be a spoiler. But it's still awesome!

Thanks, Malakym!

I feel like things haven't been quite right with Grissom since Sidle left the first time, but you're right that things have changed quite rapidly since the beginning of the season.

Having said that, having Warick die in his arms was a pretty huge event - so I'll cut them some slack for having him deteriorate so quickly after it. Though I do wonder how much of the turnaround in cast is planned in advance.

And yeah, actually, I hadn't thought of that. I was all ready for six to be a continuation of that story, but maybe the point was that with Grissom off his game, things fall by the wayside.

The roommate and I just watched Batman Brave and the Bold, a week after everyone else it seems, and hot damn, that was the most fun we've had in ages watching TV. Seeing as we watched The Apartment yesterday, it was nice to see something a bit more upbeat. The art direction is fantastic, and it's nice to see Western Animation survive post-anime.

Couldn't agree more with the CSI review.

The change in Grissom seems a bit too sudden. I feel if they set it up a little bit earlier, say last season, I'd feel more comfortable with it.

I felt the end of episode five was important. Everyone minus Grissom was around the table looking at the photos and couldn't come to a conclusion. You know if Grissom was there, he would have pieced it altogether.

Can't wait for more.
